ladies have their skin in uneven tones due to the scalding sun or various skin products used. While some dark ladies and even fair ladies too don't feel comfortable with their skin colour and want to make it lighter but are probably scared of using chemical products. If you are among these women you can try these tips to correct your skin flaws, even out your skin tone and get your skin to glow
. 1. Use lemon juice: Squeeze the juice from half a lemon and dilute it to half strength with water. Dip a cotton ball in the liquid and apply the lemon juice to your face, or wherever you wish to lighten the skin. Leave the lemon juice to sit on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not go outside during this time, as the juice makes your skin hyper-sensitive to sunlight. Thoroughly rinse your skin when you're done, then apply a good moisturizer as lemon juice can be very drying. Repeat this treatment 2 to 3 times a week (no more) for best results. Avoid rubbing it on any cut, injuries or pimples as it might irritate your skin.
2. Try raw potato: Raw potato has a very high vitamin c content. Cut a raw potato in half, and then rub the exposed flesh over the skin you wish to lighten. Leave the potato juice to sit on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing. You will need to repeat this treatment several times a week in order to get any beneficial results. Instead of a potato you could use a tomato or cucumber, as both of these foods also have high vitamin C content. Alternatively, you can place a slice of the raw potato on the affected area to treat skin pigmentation.
3. Apply milk: This is also a very fast way to lighten your skin; it's a natural skin whitener. You can mix lemon and milk together to get lighter skin in just four months. In your small bowl, combine the lemon juice and milk. Stir well, and put in the lemon wedge. Leave this on the counter (do NOT put this in the refrigerator, or you stop the bacterial process that you want). It will curdle and look funny; this is good. After 3-4 hours, spread it on your clean face and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse well. (Note: Be careful for a few hours if you're going out in the sun after this mask, as it will cause photosensitivity.)
You can also try orange peel powder with milk and honey. Make a face pack and apply. -Oatmeal exfoliator: Mix two tablespoons of oatmeal with two tablespoons of brown sugar and a quarter cup of milk together until it forms a paste use it to exfoliate your skin once in a week. In addition; -You can also try Aloe Vera, turmeric, yoghurt, pawpaw and coconut water. -Quit smoking. -Drink more water and follow a healthy diet. -Exfoliate your skin very often to remove dry and dead skin cells. -Moisturize your skin after each procedure as some can cause dry skin.
