A NEW DAWN IN UNIBEN AS A NEW VICE CHANCELLOR EMERGES!

A substantive Vice Chancellor, Prof. Osasere Faradey Orumwense, has been appointed for the University of Benin (UNIBEN), by the University's Governing Council.

Orumwense, a Professor of Material Engineering, was until his appointment, Dean, Faculty of Engineering of UNIBEN.

‎The new Vice Chancellor had previously served as Rector of Edo state-owned Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Usen.

‎Prof. Orumwense had also served as Administrator of the Ekehuan Campus of the Institution‎.

An undisclosed Uniben Student as been diagnosed of Ebola in Health Center, the Medical Center Department of Health Services University Of Benin, Benin City Nigeria. In which was Investigated as a possible first Ebola Virus Disease (EVD)-related. An astute and recognized Doctor at the health centre revealed this few minutes ago. He said a student from Lagos who had been admitted in uniben health center this morning having a slide symptoms of Ebola, but yet to be confirm a true Ebola patient.
