FALCAO BROUGHT TO TEARS BY LOUIS VAN GAAL...

Falcao's friend and former agent Silvano Espindola has said that the Manchester United player was reduced to tears ass He didn't know How to deal with the humiliation of playing with the under21 side as ordered by coach Louis Van Gasket earlier this month.

Espindola said: “We talk a lot. I’m not going to say that he feels happy because he’s not. We’ve spoken many times and cried together. It’s not an easy situation because every player wants to play and every goalscorer wants to score goals, that’s normal.

“When he was on his way to the ground to play this game with the reserves, he called me. We spoke for 20 minutes until he reached the stadium and he told me, ‘I’ve never been through something like this, I don’t know how to deal with this situation. It feels weird for me!’

“At the moment, he isn’t scoring and that’s part of his football. He’s recovering his best form. When we spoke, I told him that this happens to every striker, that he’ll get over this poor run, and has happened to every great striker. When you don’t score, you’re going to begin to feel the pressure.”

Falcao is expected to be on the bench when Manchester United visit Liverpool tomorrow
And his friend and former agent Silvano Espindola says the Colombian superstar did not know how to deal with the indignity of being told by Louis van Gaal to play for the under-21s earlier this month.

Falcao has scored only four goals in 21 appearances since joining United on a £6m loan deal for the season from Monaco. He has not started since being hauled off by Van Gaal during the FA Cup tie at Preston over a month ago, with United now highly unlikely to pay £43m to turn the deal into a permanent move.

Falcao will be left on the bench again tomorrow when United go to Liverpool with Wayne Rooney desperate to end his Anfield hoodoo.

In 10 visits to the home of United’s most bitter rivals – two with Everton and eight with United – Merseyside-born Rooney, has scored only once, and that was 10 years ago. Since then, he has managed only two shots in seven games.

Van Gaal struggles to believe it is a mental block. “It can be, I cannot deny that, but I don’t think that Wayne has a block of that sort,” he said.

“It’s strange but it can be like this. I had the same experience in the Netherlands as a manager and it can happen to players. He’s a very experienced player who has played in some of the biggest stadiums in the world so I don’t think that he would be influenced by the fans or by the stadium.

“We have to change this feeling for Wayne. The fact is Liverpool has not been an easy ground for Manchester United, but now I am manager let’s hope we can change that.”

Midfielder Michael Carrick, whose current contract was due to run out this summer, has signed a one-year extension that will mean he completes 10 years’ service at Old Trafford since his £18.6m move from Tottenham.

Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde opens up on  religion, infidelity, getting married as a teenager, music career,  20 years in the movie industry,  and more in an interview with tw magazine. Dreams in Nollywood: We were coming from a place where it was disgraceful to be an actor. My first plan was to earn money to help my brothers. When I achieved that, my dream was to make this job a success so much that people would respect me and I would be proud of myself. It was just to earn the respect of Nigerians. Seeing her as headstrong and arrogant: I realized I was different and it made me a target. A long time ago, when it was not popular to do so, I demanded that they pack my food on set. And they said I was proud. I tried to fit in, in the past, but after a while I feel I don’t have to be apologetic.
