KANYE WEST LAPTOP NOT STOLEN SAYS REP

A spokesperson for Kanye West has denied reports that the rapper's laptop was stolen in Paris, France yesterday.
Rumours about the missing laptop were circulated online following a tweet by Malik Yusef, frequent West collaborator and GOOD Music artist, in which he claimed that private investigators were looking for the stolen item.

Subsequently, an unreleased track titled 'Amazing' leaked online leading many fans to believe that the laptop thief was posting music found on the machine.

However, a spokesperson for West's label has provided the following statement in which it is clarified that no laptop was stolen and that the 'Awesome' leak was "unrelated and completely coincidental".

"The stories circulating that Kanye West's laptop has been stolen are completely false," begins the statement. "His laptop has never been out of his possession. Hence, the laptop has not been hacked, and there has been no leak of personal data such as unreleased music, photographs, designs, videos or any other personal files. The leak today of the unreleased track 'Awesome' was unrelated and completely coincidental."

Yusef has since deleted his original tweet and clarified that he was joking in the first post.
