#ConnectBrazil #ConnecTheWorld WHATSAPP BANNED IN BRAZIL




The ban came up this morning, when a Brazilian jugde requested for the information of a defendent. In the case, the accused was allegedly found to have exchanged information that was very valuable to the investigation and the communication that occured was not retreived.

The ban was placed because whatsapp is encrypted which makes it difficult for government agencies to look into during a course of investigating. Due to this ban, the owner of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg posted on his page for the jugde to revoke this ban and that individuals have the right to connect. In his official statement he dreated the hashtag #ConnectBrazil #ConnecTheWorld

We hope this campaign will get to the ears of the ruling class in Brazil so that the ban can be lifted and individuals in there community can do business and connect.
