What started off as a peaceful and normal day turned fiery as a comrade bus was set ablaze by students in protest to the state governments actions in demolishing the former vice chancellor's quarters located inside the campus. A source said according to the information gathered by the authorities, the buiding wasnt occuoied by the former vice chancellor but it was actually occupied by his sister. When asked why the state government didnt take the issue to court, the source said they did and they got the order to take charge of the situation. The residence was demolished during the day with the state governor and the commisoner of police present.  Now the onset of the situation has led to riots and protests carried out by the student union government(SUG) nd other union, also getting involved are students and lecturers.
