Nigeria plans to sell 100 billion naira ($615 million) worth of bonds with maturities ranging from 3 to 20 years at an auction next Wednesday, the Debt Management Office said on Wednesday. The debt office said it will auction 15 billion naira in the 3-year bond, 50 billion in the 10-year paper and 35 billion naira in the 20-year debt note, using a Dutch auction system.  The bonds are reopenings of previously issued debt notes, the debt office said, noting that the results of the auction will be released the following day. "Successful bidders will pay a price corresponding to the yield-to-maturity bid that clears the volume being auctioned, plus any accrued interest on the instrument," the debt office said.

A female student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife  suspected to be a secondary contact of Ebola have been moved to Lagos for proper attention, the Public Relations Officer of the university has said. Mr. Biodun Olarewaju late on Tuesday explained that a female student of the institution who is suspected to be a  secondary contact of the Ebola Virus Disease in Port-Harcourt, presented sick at the University Health Centre. "After a clinical assessment by the Ebola Surveillance Preparedness and Response Committee of the University, the authorities thereafter contacted the State Ministry of Health, the Federal Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation(WHO).  "The female suspected secondary Ebola contact has since been evacuated to the appropriate facility in Lagos for further investigations to confirm her status."   Dimgba Igwe , vice chairman of The Sun Newspapers is dead. He died on Saturday morning after being knocked down by a vehicle while jogging around his residence near Ago-Palace round about, Okota, Lagos. Dimgba  who also doubles as Assistant General overseer of Evangel Pentecostal Church sustained serious injury and was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was aged 58.

The third American doctor to be diagnosed with the Ebola virus arrived Nebraska about an hour to begin his treatment. Dr Richard Sacra (pictured above) contracted the deadly virus while working in Liberia. Dr Sacra wasn't treating Ebola patients when he was infected. He was today flown to the Nebraska Medical Center's biocontainment patient care unit, one of the four facilities in America designed specifically to treat patients exposed to extremely dangerous infectious organisms. Two other Americans were recently treated of the deadly virus using the experimental drug, ZMapp.‎

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and his wife, Anita, amid divorce controversy are facing more challenges as the United Kingdom agency is making an inquiry into the UK branch of their church, Christ Embassy, over controversial payments . The United Kingdom Charity Commission has launched a probe into the transfer of at least N941 million (£3.6 million) by the church to overseas entities between 2008 and 2012. according to report from Premium Times, the Charity Commission in a statement said it has opened a statutory inquiry to investigate Christ Embassy over "a number of serious concerns relating to the use of charitable funds, in particular large connected party payments and the potential misapplication of grant funding." According to the Charity Commission, which is the regulator of charities in England and Wales, statutory inquiries are only opened to investigate "the most serious" regulatory breaches.  The commission said the purpose of the inquiry is to "determine

The divorce between Pastors Chris and Anita Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy Church has gotten messier according to P.M News reports. Two days after it was reported that Anita Oyakhilome had filed for divorce in April, Christ Embassy deleted her pictures and personal information from its official website, www.christembassy.org.  This has been described by many as the beginning of a process to shut her out of the church, after she accused her husband of "adultery" and "unreasonable behaviour" in a divorce suit filed in London last April that was made public on Friday. According to the newspaper, there is confusion in the church following the divorce suit as the congregation is confused.
